Microsoft Analytics Data Engineer Senior Consultant
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Mentor, train, and coach interns and consultants to ensure project work plans are completed successfully.
- Identify risk areas and opportunities to improve efficiency across engagements.
- Strengthen client relationships and enhance communication to earn trust and broaden professional networks.
- Define project scope and develop corresponding work plans.
- Oversee project staffing and allocate resources as needed.
- Prepare deliverables in accordance with project methodologies.
- Apply established methodologies to project execution and delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in professional services or a related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, Analytics or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio and Access are a secondary focus.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Familiarity with programming languages used in the Microsoft Data Platform stack (Python, Spark, C#, Java, Scala, R, DAX, MDX, or M).
- Advanced certifications are preferred: Microsoft Certified Fabric Analytics Engineering Associate (highly desired), Microsoft Certified Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Bonus: experience with Data Science and/or Machine Learning.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with Visio and Access as secondary skills. Professional certifications are preferred: Fabric Analytics Engineering Associate, Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
