Job Description

The PAC Performance Improvement Data Analyst at TeamHealth will work with healthcare and post-acute care data to produce actionable insights that inform business decisions. This remote role centers on building dashboards and reporting solutions, strengthening SQL-driven data analysis, and partnering with stakeholders to identify and deliver the information they need.

You will analyze and interpret datasets, support reporting for performance improvement initiatives, and help ensure data quality across multiple sources. The work also includes navigating electronic health record systems to generate reports and business insights while developing a strong understanding of TeamHealth data, processes, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret healthcare and post-acute care data to support business initiatives
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute reports and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data
  • Perform data acquisition, cleansing, aggregation, and quality assessments across multiple data sources
  • Support database management and data structure initiatives
  • Create presentations, reports, charts, and visualizations that communicate key findings
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and recommend solutions
  • Navigate electronic health record systems to generate reports and business insights
  • Develop a strong understanding of TeamHealth data, processes, and business operations

Requirements

  • Healthcare or post-acute care experience required
  • 3+ years of experience in a data-driven professional environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Public Health, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience creating and managing reports and dashboards in Power BI or Tableau
  • SQL programming experience
  • Experience with database management and database structures
  • Expertise in data extraction, data quality assessment, and reporting from multiple data sources
  • Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems and report development
