Procurement AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in idea generation and lead development cycles from prototype to production ready AI capabilities that advance supply chain effectiveness
• Act as the algorithm expert with current knowledge of modern AI research
• Implement GenAI solutions to improve efficiency in procurement and sourcing workflows
• Apply cutting edge AI research and train machine learning and deep learning models to address diverse problems
• Optimize the performance of AI algorithms, applications, and platforms
• Build production grade AI applications to enable and streamline procurement processes
• Develop and document algorithm and implementation requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Strong understanding of neural networks, computer vision, natural language processing, and/or reinforcement learning
• Experience with large language models, retrieval augmented generation architectures, and GenAI
• Ability to design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions
• Proficiency in data processing and analysis using SQL, R, and/or Pandas
• US Citizenship

Annual base salary range: $132,900 - $264,960

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $152,900 - $264,960. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
