Job Description

The Python AI and Machine Learning Engineer role at Rose International in Tampa, Florida, offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days onsite and two remote. This contract assignment carries an estimated duration of six months, a rate of USD 60 to 65 per hour, and may provide a temp-to-hire path based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead practical design and implementation of Python based frameworks to deliver scalable, robust, and high-performing applications.
  • Develop solutions that align with architectural standards, leveraging deep technical and business domain knowledge.
  • Design and implement agentic workflows and autonomous AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and tool utilization.
  • Enforce industry standard SDLC practices and contribute to code quality through structured reviews.
  • Demonstrate polyglot programming exposure, including Java.
  • Work with Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka, and support data warehousing needs.
  • Contribute to frontend development using React, Angular, and Vue.js.
  • Drive development for stress testing and regulatory risk projects within the Market Risk domain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk, Quants, Front Office, DevOps, and Production Support to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Oversee technical aspects of projects, including planning and governance, and take ownership of initiatives.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions independently within a globally matrixed environment and under tight deadlines.
