Security Assistance Data Analyst

The Security Assistance Data Analyst will serve as the principal analyst and integrator for the Department of State (DoS) Political-Military Affairs Bureau, leading data management, visualization, and reporting across Security Assistance accounts and interagency coordination. This role supports data-driven decision-making and strengthens program execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data management, visualization, and reporting efforts related to Security Assistance accounts and interagency coordination.
• Act as the principal analyst and integrator for the DoS Political-Military Affairs Bureau.
• Support informed decision-making and contribute to improved program execution.

Required Qualifications

• Active and maintained "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in data analytics, visualization, or program evaluation, preferably with federal agencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in international affairs, data science, political science, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in Security Assistance or Security Cooperation program analysis, including familiarity with FMF, IMET, PKO/NSEA, and related budget accounts.
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, SQL, and other data analysis or visualization platforms.
• Demonstrated background in data transformation, automation, and process optimization for reporting and program management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience drafting executive-level data products and dashboards.

Location and Travel

• Location: Washington, DC (onsite)
• Travel required: Up to 10%

Salary

USD 113,000 - 188,000 per year.
