Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Analytics Developer to join our Parsippany team. The role involves designing, building, and optimizing scalable analytics and data solutions that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data-informed decision making. This highly technical hands-on position requires advanced expertise in data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence. Working with significant independence and professional judgment, the Senior Analytics Developer collaborates with Analytics leadership and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into reliable, high-performance data pipelines, models, and reporting solutions. The role also sets analytical standards, ensures data quality, and provides technical leadership within the Data & Analytics function.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using SQL, Python, and Apache Airflow.
- Create and optimize data models and data warehouse structures in Snowflake and PostgreSQL.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, performance, and accuracy across data pipelines and analytics systems, owning assigned analytics domains from ingestion to reporting delivery.
- Build, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and semantic models.
- Apply best practices in Power BI data modeling, DAX development, Power Query, and performance optimization.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, forecasting opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Translate business requirements into effective technical analytics and reporting solutions.
- Define, implement, and enforce data quality standards, validation logic, and governance processes.

- Troubleshoot data issues across pipelines, models, and reporting layers to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain clear documentation for data models, pipelines, transformations, and reporting logic.
- Collaborate with Analytics Managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions from requirements through deployment.
- Participate in end-to-end analytics solution delivery, including design, development, testing, and optimization.
- Contribute to analytics architecture decisions, tooling evaluations, and platform optimization efforts.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior developers and analysts.
- Ensure analytics solutions align with business objectives and support operational efficiency and performance measurement.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- 5 to 8+ years of experience as a BI developer, data analyst, or related role.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end analytics solutions, including data pipelines, models, and dashboards.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Power BI with the ability to design and support enterprise-scale analytics solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise insights for executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to present analytics findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams in a professional manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to diverse audiences.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, quality, and governance standards.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and exercise sound professional judgment in a senior role.
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with analytics leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $100,000 to $115,000 per year.
