Senior Data Engineer
Job Description

This on-site role is based in Waukegan, IL with a salary range of USD 96,000 - 148,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and implement BI solutions and data warehouse architectures.
- Work with project leads, analysts, and business users to deploy and validate data warehouse applications.
- Develop sophisticated data engineering pipelines to support analytics and reporting.
- Conduct unit, performance, and regression tests on ETL mappings.
- Adhere to coding standards, perform code reviews, and improve quality practices.
- Manage production deployments and coordinate cross-team efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
- 8+ years of data engineering experience.
- 5+ years hands-on experience developing ETL using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Proven ability to write complex T-SQL and optimize database performance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving data issues.
- Knowledge of SSIS, Python, Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks is a plus.
