Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement robust data pipelines, models, and ingestion frameworks to enable advanced analytics and machine learning.
  • Design and maintain scalable data infrastructure on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Integrate SAP data sources into enterprise data platforms for reporting and analytics.
  • Ensure data integrity, reliability, and performance across systems and applications.
  • Lead efforts to reduce data redundancy and establish a single source of truth through effective data modeling and integration.
  • Serve as a technical lead on cross-functional data projects, guiding design decisions and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Oversee database upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning activities.
  • Develop and enforce standards for data governance, security, and lifecycle management.
  • Mentor junior data engineers and analysts, providing guidance on best practices and technical development.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to enhance data capabilities.
  • Create and deliver training materials and documentation to support team development and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-8+ years of experience in data engineering, database administration, or related roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB).
  • Strong experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Experience integrating and analyzing data from SAP systems (e.g., SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP ECC).
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members.

Pay

Hourly: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
