Job Description
In PwC's Technology Consulting practice, the Senior Data Engineer - Senior Manager leads data-driven initiatives on site in Greensboro, NC, delivering strategic insights and guiding decision-making for clients. The role focuses on developing innovative solutions to optimize business performance, coaching teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes at the senior management level. The position offers a salary range of USD 124,000 to 280,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative solutions to optimize business performance and strengthen competitive advantage, including solution optimization and roadmap development.
- Apply advanced analytics techniques to support client operations and strategic objectives, including AWS data engineering and Redshift.
- Design and maintain data pipelines and architectures to support business intelligence initiatives, utilizing DataStage and ETL.
- Deploy data visualization tools to provide actionable insights and improve client outcomes, leveraging SQL Server and DB2.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data challenges and opportunities, aligning managed services and service level agreements.
- Coach and motivate teams to tackle complex problems and deliver high-quality results.
- Apply systems thinking to uncover underlying problems and opportunities within client projects, including workload orchestration and scheduling.
- Validate outcomes with clients and incorporate feedback to refine solutions, focusing on CSAT and performance tuning.
- Guide teams through ambiguous and challenging situations with composure and sound judgment.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree
