Responsibilities

• Contribute to building software solutions within large, data‑driven ecosystems with emphasis on scalability and maintainability
• Translate stakeholder needs into technical designs and development tasks under guidance from senior engineers
• Help uphold system standards across software, tooling, and data platforms
• Assist in developing proof‑of‑concept prototypes to validate approaches and reduce risk
• Participate in formal design reviews and comply with engineering standards and cybersecurity controls

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience with Python, C++, or C#, with familiarity in object oriented programming, APIs, and common design patterns
• Experience with the software development lifecycle in a team environment, including peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, and defect tracking
• Experience using agile software development tools and methodologies such as Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and GitLab
• U.S. citizenship is required. The position is at a facility with special access, and a Secret clearance must be updated within the last five years to be considered
