Job Description
The Senior Analytics Engineer will lead modernization of the enterprise data platform, designing and deploying a scalable data warehouse, consolidating legacy reporting into a governed, centralized environment, and owning the analytics platform, data pipelines, governance framework, and Power BI reporting on-site in Midlothian, VA, with a salary of USD 170,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and deploy a modern cloud data platform such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, or a comparable solution.
- Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate data from multiple ERP and business systems.
- Develop scalable data models and establish enterprise data standards and governance practices.
- Standardize reporting using Power BI and retire legacy reporting tools.
- Oversee data security, access controls, and documentation.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, reusable reporting solutions.
- Support ERP initiatives and the integration of newly acquired business units.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of analytics or data engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing modern data warehouse solutions.
- Proficient in ETL/ELT processes, SQL, data modeling, and Power BI.
- Experience establishing data governance and data quality programs.
- Ability to evaluate technology platforms and propose scalable data solutions.
- Experience working with complex, multi-source or multi-entity data environments.
