Job Description

The Senior Financial Data Analyst role focuses on turning complex financial and operational datasets into actionable insights and executive-level reporting. This position supports Finance and cross-functional stakeholders through advanced modeling, dashboard development, and decision-support analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models and analytical tools using advanced Excel to enable forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, business planning, and decision-making.
  • Design, build, and maintain executive-level dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions using internal business intelligence tools (Snowflake/Sigma).
  • Create clear, visually structured reporting that provides leadership visibility into financial and operational performance, trends, business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Produce and enhance executive reporting packages and dashboards so leadership can quickly identify performance and focus on key business issues.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations and Business Unit leadership by delivering reporting and analysis related to sales performance, revenue, pricing, customer activity, productivity, and other commercial metrics.
  • Increase reporting efficiency through automation, process improvement, and the development of standardized and scalable reporting solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial data analytics, FP&A, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, MIS or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data manipulation, and model development.
  • Proven experience creating and maintaining dashboards and visualizations in a business intelligence platform such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or a similar tool.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, including the ability to work through complex and ambiguous problems.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional business stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights and executive-level reporting.
