Job Description

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff AI Engineer to design, build, and scale AI-powered solutions across the ServiceNow platform and Cloud. This role supports enterprise generative AI adoption by focusing on AI agent and workflow architecture, LLM integration, governance, and responsible AI practices. Based in West Palm Beach, FL, this position is onsite.

What you will do

  • Architect and implement AI agents and workflows using ServiceNow’s AI Agent Studio, Skill Kit, and Workflow Data Fabric.
  • Lead the implementation, adoption, and enablement of an AI Control Tower, including governance policy establishment and monitoring practices across the organization.
  • Integrate and configure LLM-based capabilities across Cloud and the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Work with product, platform, and business teams to identify high-value use cases and translate them into scalable AI solutions.
  • Mentor engineers, set technical direction, and define best practices for AI system design, governance, and responsible AI use.

Skills and experience

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years working with AI/LLM-powered platforms or products.
  • Strong understanding of NLP and modern LLM architectures, including transformers, embeddings, vector search, and agentic frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow’s AI ecosystem: AI Agent Studio, Skill Kit, and AI Control Tower.
  • Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and A2A (Agent2Agent) for governed multi-agent integration and interoperability.
  • Proficiency in scripting and integration using JavaScript and Python, plus experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • ServiceNow certification(s) in AI or platform development.
