Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Data Engineer to join onsite in Bentonville, NC, where you will design, build, test, and maintain data-driven software solutions. This role encompasses requirements elicitation, design collaboration, coding, testing, documentation, and production support, with emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Apache Spark, and Scala.

Responsibilities

Support the requirements elicitation by documenting the relevant portions of business needs in line with provided guidance.
Facilitate software design discussions and capture design decisions to help the technical team create effective solutions.
Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications while maintaining system stability.
Conduct code reviews, apply changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
Define and execute testing strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold quality standards.
Develop user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software.
Actively participate in resolving production issues and propose preventive measures to enhance reliability.
Maintain thorough records of code, testing methods, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base for similar projects.

Requirements
