Job Description

This senior leadership role oversees data analytics and business intelligence strategy, governance, and data management for The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, based on-site in Berwyn, PA. The position emphasizes mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and advancing analytics capabilities across the organization.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement data analytics strategies that leverage advanced analytical tools and methodologies to strengthen business intelligence capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
Establish robust data governance frameworks and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Lead initiatives to improve data management processes and enhance data accessibility and usability for stakeholders.
Mentor and guide junior data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Drive the adoption of innovative data solutions by staying current with emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and business intelligence.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
Typically 5 to 8 years of experience, with prior financial services industry experience essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with expertise in data visualization and business intelligence tools.
Experience developing Oracle SQL, Python, and Perl.
Experience with Bert is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in data management and governance practices to ensure high standards of data quality and integrity.
