Job Description

Spotter is seeking a Remote Machine Learning Engineer to design, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models, collaborating with software engineers to integrate ML components into production systems. This role is remote, with a base location in Lemont, Illinois.

Responsibilities

Design, train, and assess machine learning models.
Prepare and explore datasets to support model training and validation.
Enhance model performance through systematic experimentation and testing.
Deploy models to production environments and provide ongoing maintenance.
Collaborate with software engineers to embed ML solutions into product workflows.
Monitor deployed models and implement continuous improvements to accuracy.
Remain current with emerging machine learning techniques and tools.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
Proficiency in Python.
Experience with ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
Ability to work with data and produce clean, maintainable code.
Experience with Git version control.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and spoken English communication.
