Remote Machine Learning Engineer

Spotter is seeking a Remote Machine Learning Engineer to design, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models, collaborating with software engineers to integrate ML components into production systems. This role is remote, with a base location in Lemont, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and assess machine learning models.
• Prepare and explore datasets to support model training and validation.
• Enhance model performance through systematic experimentation and testing.
• Deploy models to production environments and provide ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with software engineers to embed ML solutions into product workflows.
• Monitor deployed models and implement continuous improvements to accuracy.
• Remain current with emerging machine learning techniques and tools.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Ability to work with data and produce clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
