What you’ll do

Formulate complex business and operational problems as mathematical optimization models.
Translate business requirements into scalable, mathematically rigorous optimization applications.
Develop, maintain, and enhance linear programming, integer programming, and network optimization models for inventory, yielding, capacity, and resource allocation.
Build and deploy optimization applications using commercial solvers such as Gurobi and open-source solvers when appropriate.
Apply advanced optimization techniques, including constraint reformulation and decomposition, to improve performance.
Analyze solver logs to diagnose and resolve infeasibility, numerical instability, convergence issues, and runtime bottlenecks.
Run scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to validate outputs, robustness, and business impact.
Acquire, prepare, and validate large datasets required for optimization workflows and analytical decision-making.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and validation processes that support reliable optimization solutions.
Use Snowflake and AWS to access, process, and manage large-scale data supporting development, execution, and production workflows.
Create visualizations and reporting to communicate recommendations, performance, and business outcomes.
Develop production-quality Python code and reusable optimization tools for scalable solution delivery.
Implement testing, monitoring, and governance processes to support model accuracy, reliability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with engineering, data science, product, and business teams to operationalize optimization solutions.
Document model assumptions, methodologies, validation results, and implementation approaches.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on optimization modeling practices, solution design, and algorithmic performance.
