Job Description

The Financial Data Analyst role is an in office, onsite position based in Urbandale, IA. The role collaborates with management and cross-functional teams on data tasks, reporting, and ad hoc data requests to support informed decision-making and drive operational efficiency across DSI Systems Inc.

Responsibilities

Handle dealer inquiries and investigate data by querying multiple vendor tables with SQL, resolving dealer disputes in a timely manner.
Lead data collection, reporting, dealer payments, and vendor receivable reconciliation across multiple DSI programs.
Evaluate vendor data and update current vendor payment processes accordingly.
Identify high level data issues from vendors while collaborating with Sales across all levels.
Prepare ad hoc financial reports by consolidating data from various accounting applications and presenting results in an audience-appropriate format.
Provide admin level support to other DSI departments as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with 2+ years of experience in IT, finance, accounting, or analytics, or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience handling large data sets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across departments.
A proactive mindset and determination to uncover solid solutions to core issues.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Extremely detail-oriented and well organized.
Experience with MS SQL, MS SQL Reporting Services, MS Visual Basic; familiarity with Domo is a plus.
Knowledge or experience in accounting or finance is a plus.

Compensation

Salary: USD 40,000 - 50,000 per year
