Responsibilities

• Craft, refine, and optimize AI prompts using advanced NLP techniques to deliver outputs that are accurate, relevant, and engaging.
• Design and implement prompt engineering and agentic AI strategies to steer model behavior and automate complex workflows.
• Apply machine learning approaches, including data curation and hyperparameter tuning, to continuously elevate AI model performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and UX partners to translate business needs into effective AI solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for prompt engineering, model configuration, and system integration.
• Analyze model performance through data exploration, metrics, and visualization to evaluate effectiveness and share insights with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, or a related technical field.
• Two or more years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a closely related AI discipline; candidates with broader experience may be considered for a higher level.
• Proven ability to apply technical expertise in real-world, production, or applied research environments.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship; Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
