Chevron is seeking an AI Engineer in Houston, TX to modernize data foundations and deliver AI and ML accelerators across the organization.

Design and develop AI and Machine Learning solutions
Design and develop agentic solutions using Microsoft Foundry and Azure Cognitive Services
Build software solutions using Python and/or Typescript and/or C#
Design and implement AI plugins, skills, and MCP servers
Orchestrate large-scale data processing and distributed model training workloads
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify AI opportunities
Lead cross-functional initiatives and partner with product managers to define requirements
Apply software engineering best practices including testing, source control, architecture reviews, and CI/CD

Experience designing, developing, and deploying software solutions (Python preferred)
Experience building AI-enabled applications using machine learning and/or generative AI technologies
Experience with agentic AI frameworks, AI orchestration platforms, or related AI development patterns
Experience developing cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure services
Demonstrated software engineering practices: source control, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD
Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across technical and business teams
Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and approaches in a fast-changing AI environment
