AI Engineer II
Job Description
AI Engineer II role focused on delivering production-grade AI/ML systems across agentic AI and LLM/RAG solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy production AI/ML systems, including agentic AI capabilities
- Develop LLM and RAG solutions across the full lifecycle, from design through ongoing evaluation and monitoring
- Work on backend services, APIs, and data pipelines supporting machine learning products
- Implement agent orchestration, including tools and memory/state management, plus system evaluation
- Use strong engineering practices to design and deploy scalable, cloud-native solutions
- Apply distributed systems concepts for event-driven architecture and large-scale data processing
- Translate business needs into technical solutions with strong ownership and accountability
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, or applied AI, including building production systems
- Experience with agentic AI: orchestration, tools, memory/state management, and evaluation
- Hands-on RAG experience, including vector databases and the full LLM lifecycle (prompting, fine-tuning, evaluation, monitoring)
- Strong Python skills and experience building backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
- Practical experience with LLMs, GenAI, or applied machine learning in real-world products
- Experience with modern AI/ML frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Composer (Airflow), DataProc, and related services
- Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and large-scale data processing
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver technical solutions aligned to business needs
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with accountability

- Contributions to research, patents, or open-source projects in AI/ML or developer tools
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related technical field

Salary: USD 89,250 - 150,250 per year
Minimum experience: 5 years
