AI & Machine Learning Developer
Job Description
The AI and Machine Learning Developer will design and prototype advanced AI features for Johnson Health Tech Companies' mobile fitness applications, with a focus on large language models and AWS-based backend services, and will collaborate with Android developers to integrate capabilities into production apps.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement AI/ML solutions for mobile fitness applications.
- Develop and fine-tune large language models for natural language interactions and personalization.
- Build scalable backend services using AWS technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and SageMaker.
- Establish scalable ML operations pipelines and production-ready inference endpoints with AWS offerings including SageMaker and Bedrock.
- Collaborate with Android developers to integrate AI features into client-side applications.
- Create prototypes and proofs of concept for new AI-driven features.
- Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of AI/ML development experience, with a focus on Natural Language Processing and LLMs.
- Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML solutions on AWS.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and a microservices architecture.

Compensation
Salary: USD 99,000 - 119,000 per year. Location: Cottage Grove, WI onsite.
