Job Description
Orlando, FL remote role for a senior AI/ML engineer leading Lockheed Martin's LAIC AI Consulting portfolio, combining software engineering with AI/ML to deliver enterprise AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and design AI solutions.
- Model complex business and engineering challenges using machine learning and feature engineering techniques.
- Deploy AI capabilities and manage projects through to completion.
- Apply established ML and software engineering best practices.
- Develop knowledge resources to disseminate best practices to other AI and data science teams.
- Collaborate with data science leadership to teach and discuss best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least five years of professional experience.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree with three years of professional experience.
- Extensive experience applying ML techniques to business problems, including natural language processing, deep learning, anomaly detection, and reinforcement learning.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or compiled languages such as C++, Go.
- Experience implementing software and software engineering best practices.
- US Citizenship required.
