AI/Machine Learning Engineer Senior

Orlando, FL remote role for a senior AI/ML engineer leading Lockheed Martin's LAIC AI Consulting portfolio, combining software engineering with AI/ML to deliver enterprise AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and design AI solutions.
• Model complex business and engineering challenges using machine learning and feature engineering techniques.
• Deploy AI capabilities and manage projects through to completion.
• Apply established ML and software engineering best practices.
• Develop knowledge resources to disseminate best practices to other AI and data science teams.
• Collaborate with data science leadership to teach and discuss best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least five years of professional experience.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree with three years of professional experience.
• Extensive experience applying ML techniques to business problems, including natural language processing, deep learning, anomaly detection, and reinforcement learning.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or compiled languages such as C++, Go.
• Experience implementing software and software engineering best practices.
• US Citizenship required.
