Job Description
Responsibilities
- Join a cross-functional team of experts in research, data science, software development, physics, and mathematics.
- Apply advanced AI/ML tools and techniques to address complex Space domain challenges in support of national security.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, drive innovation, and contribute to developing solutions for critical space problems.
- Demonstrate advanced experience with or knowledge of AI/ML, Deep Learning, or Computer Vision, modern software development practices and languages, and a passion for math and science.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related technical field.
- Advanced experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, or Image Processing.
- Experience with modern software development tools and practices.

Remote Work
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over five days to condensed formats, designed to provide more time away from the office in addition to PTO benefits.

Pay Range
The annual base salary range for this position is $108,800 to $191,820. The exact figure varies by location and other factors; in California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC the stated range applies, with adjustments for other states based on final work location. This salary information serves as a general guideline and may be influenced by location and experience.
