Analytics and Insights Engineer III - Data Analyst
Job Description
Deloitte is seeking an Analytics and Insights Engineer III to support its AI & Data team. This onsite role in Washington, DC focuses on designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and analytics solutions that enable client reporting and investigative use cases.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, curated data sets, and analytics solutions for client reporting and mission needs.
- Develop and enhance analytics, search, and data discovery capabilities using Python, SQL, and platform tools.
- Analyze both structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, generate insights, and support investigative use cases.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable data and analytics solutions.
- Support reliable outputs through testing, documentation, deployment support, and ongoing data quality activities, including continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting data, analytics, or business intelligence solutions
- 4+ years of experience with Python
- 3+ years of experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Active Top Secret clearance with completed adjudication, and ability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on work performed and the clients and industries/sectors served
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience with R
- 1+ year of experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
- 1+ year of experience in an investigator role

Compensation and Location
Location: Washington, DC (onsite). Estimated salary range: USD 113,000 to 188,400 per year.
