The role emphasizes outcome-focused engineering, technical leadership, and cloud cost-aware AI and agentic development.
Role Responsibilities
- Drive accountability for customer and business outcomes, including the cost required to achieve those outcomes.
- Design and implement solutions to complex problems with measurable value, using lean engineering practices while owning inference, token, and cloud cost for what you build.
- Act as a technical advocate for products by ensuring code integrity, feasibility, and alignment with business and customer objectives.
- Participate across the delivery lifecycle including requirement analysis, component design, development, testing, integrations, and support.
- Maintain responsibility for code design integrity and implementation fidelity to architecture and the defined tech stack, covering quality, data, and ongoing maintenance and operations.
- Build hands-on, self-driven capabilities and continuously learn new approaches, languages, and frameworks.
- Produce technical specifications and write high-quality, supportable, scalable code while meeting or exceeding defined quality KPIs.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse teams and integrate perspectives to support decisions that balance feasibility, viability, usability, and value.
- Develop lean solutions through rapid, inexpensive experimentation to address customer needs.
- Coordinate with customers and product teams before, during, and after delivery to ensure the right solution is delivered at the right time.
- Adopt an action-and-evidence mindset to move forward through complexity and uncertainty.
- Work with empowered, cross-functional teams including product management, experience, and delivery.
- Support continuous improvement and learning across the full lifecycle product development process.
- Translate business and user needs, architectures, and UX/UI designs into technical specifications and code.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and influence teams using structured arguments and trade-offs supported by evidence.
- Build and maintain constructive relationships focused on co-creation and shared momentum toward product goals.
- Contribute to daily deployments using full automation from discovery through production to operations, with quality checks across SSDLC lifecycle using AI and Agentic SSDLC practices.
