Business Data Analyst

Rimco LLC is seeking a data-driven professional to join the team as a Business Data Analyst in San Juan, Puerto Rico, onsite. The role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights that guide operational choices and strategic planning, including the creation of reports and dashboards, ongoing KPI tracking, and clear communication of findings to management and cross-functional teams. The position also involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions and collaborating across the Finance department as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Gather, validate, analyze, and translate data into actionable business insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Develop reports and dashboards to inform stakeholders.
• Monitor key performance indicators to identify performance gaps and opportunities.
• Spot trends and opportunities for improvement across the organization.
• Share findings with management and cross-functional teams to drive informed decisions.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, maintaining compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Demonstrate flexibility and collaborate with other areas of the Finance department as business needs require.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Two years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or related areas.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• Understanding of data validation, cleansing, and reporting processes.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and business metrics.
• Relevant certifications such as Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, or similar are a plus.
