Responsibilities

• Lead the end to end delivery of business insights for the life sciences portfolio, using visual storytelling to shorten the path from data to insight when suitable.
• Translate strategic goals and stakeholder needs to identify the most effective analytic solution.
• Drive the creation and deployment of top tier analytics that enable easy self service for sales and function leaders.
• Share solutions and analytical approaches across the organization to build capability within business units.
• Design and maintain data structures that join multiple datasets for multi dimensional exploration and performance dashboards.
• Develop and refresh Tableau and Power BI dashboards that incorporate leading and lagging indicators from financial and operations metrics.
• Oversee deployment of analytics solutions through standard work processes, training sessions, and ongoing support for business teams.
• Collaborate with Commercial Sales, Finance, IT and other teams to develop and launch innovative analytics solutions.
• Deliver reports and dashboards using agile methods to meet stakeholder needs.
• Lead the creation and documentation of analytics integration and data consolidation standards and best practices.
• Prepare and present customized findings to senior leadership and field offices in clear formats.
• Support additional processes such as SIOP demand planning, sales compensation reporting, and planning and KPI/dashboard development for marketing programs as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Proven ability to evaluate solutions from the customer perspective.
• Five or more years of experience developing analytics solutions.
• Experience supporting systems integration, data conversion and validation, and improvement of master data management processes.
• Experience building visualizations with Tableau.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataiku.
• Experience leveraging cloud infrastructure.
• Strong analytic, critical thinking and problem solving skills with awareness of how new information affects current and future decisions.
• Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to align research and analysis with implementation plans.
• Skill in wrangling and mining data to extract customer insights.
• Ability to create meaningful and easily interpretable data visualizations.
• Judgment in selecting the right tool for the problem, with consideration for future enhancements and audiences.
• Willingness to learn new tools and techniques to grow in advanced analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
