Data Analyst

Contract-to-hire Data Analyst position in Indianapolis, IN (onsite) focused on preparing large datasets and building reliable reporting outputs.

Responsibilities

• Clean, transform, and load datasets into internal systems while maintaining accuracy and data integrity
• Write and maintain scripts that streamline recurring data workflows
• Spot and investigate outliers within data to support analysis quality
• Follow best practices for handling sensitive information
• Collaborate using GitHub for version control
• Manage data-related projects and collaborate independently

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis
• Strong SQL skills for pulling, querying, and loading data
• Python proficiency for scripting, data cleaning, transformation, and workflow automation
• Hands-on experience with reporting and visualization tools, including SSRS, Tableau, or Power BI
• Ability to clean and transform large, messy datasets, identify outliers, and ensure integrity for accurate analysis
• Experience working with GitHub
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
