Job Description

Electronic Arts is hiring a Data Analyst (Ads & Sponsorships) to help the Ads & Sponsorships team ship accurate, documented reporting on in-game advertising inventory. In a hybrid role based in Kirkland, WA, you will build scalable data models and dashboards, automate recurring deliverables, and partner across AdOps, AdTech, Product Management, and game analytics to keep insights consistent and reproducible.

This role sits at the intersection of analytics and data engineering: you will manage monthly reporting workflows, evolve KPI definitions and query logic, and support automation from requirements through validation. You will also contribute to the reporting experience for mobile titles and enable dashboard access for the teams that rely on A&S performance reporting.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate with AdOps each month on which campaigns are included in reporting, then create and publish reports for all custom A&S inventory across EA titles.
  • Serve as the A&S business lead with AdTech to automate report generation by defining requirements, validating outputs, and reducing manual steps.
  • Partner with Product Management to ensure newly launched inventory is reflected in standardized reporting.
  • Maintain documentation for reporting queries and KPI calculations so results are reproducible and auditable.
  • Bridge reporting gaps for A&S inventory in mobile titles and help drive automation efforts.
  • Build and maintain A&S team dashboards that support Sales, AdOps, Product Management, and Revenue Strategy.
  • Manage access and permissions for A&S dashboards.
  • Apply working knowledge of data engineering concepts to design and maintain internal A&S data models and databases, and provide inputs and guidance to AdTech partners on data pipeline migration.
  • Work with studio analytics teams to understand each team’s data taxonomy.
  • Fulfill ad hoc telemetry and data requests across the A&S team.

What you bring

  • 1+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or business intelligence (internship experience counts).
  • Bachelor, MBA, or Master’s degree in Statistics or a related field, with knowledge applying statistics using analytics software.
  • Database knowledge, including table structures, views, queries, and SQL statements (including window/analytic functions).
  • Competence with at least one analytics package: Python, R, SAS, or SPSS, plus comfort with Excel (including advanced macros).
  • Hands-on dashboard experience in a BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, including generating graphs and visuals.
  • Ability to summarize data using appropriate statistical terms and explain concepts in plain language to non-statistical audiences.
  • Familiarity with core data engineering concepts such as pipelines, schemas, ETL, and telemetry, enough to collaborate effectively with engineering.
  • Clear documentation habits, strong prioritization, ability to provide effort estimates, and early flagging of scheduling conflicts.
  • Interest in games, including playing EA titles across platforms and following industry and technology news.
  • Exposure to digital advertising metrics (e.g., impressions, reach and frequency, viewability) or game telemetry data.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
