Job Description

McAfee is hiring a Hybrid Data Analyst / Engineer for the Consumer Protection Team in Frisco, TX, focused on turning operational data into scalable insights and real-time monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive data metrics from telemetry and user data for threat analysis and UX optimization.
  • Build and optimize data insights and solutions using AI/ML.
  • Create solutions that combine external and internal data sources to improve consumer experience.
  • Develop scalable ETL pipelines to process large-volume telemetry across heterogeneous systems.
  • Build real-time dashboards to monitor product health and operational issues, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Support seamless AI integration across a polyglot codebase including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of data engineering experience.
  • 1+ year of hands-on AI/ML experience.
  • Experience with Spark, Kafka, ETL pipelines, and a data warehouse such as Databricks.
  • Experience with databases including SQL and NoSQL ( PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis ).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on AI/ML services.
  • Experience with API development ( REST, GraphQL ) and real-time systems.
  • Cybersecurity platform knowledge and MCP implementation experience.
  • Strong critical thinking to evaluate trade-offs and solve complex data problems.

Location & Work Model

Compensation

  • USD 93,370 - 153,400 per year
