Data Analyst II

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is hiring a Data Analyst II to help turn research and operational data into dependable insights for strategic and programmatic decisions. In this hybrid role based in the Columbus, OH area, you will query and summarize datasets, build decision support tools and models, and communicate findings to senior management.

What you’ll do

• Query, summarize, and disseminate research data to support the availability of timely and accurate information for decision making.
• Analyze complex data sets and derive prov insights to support organizational decisions.
• Develop and maintain decision support tools and models.
• Conduct research and remain current on industry trends related to the work.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within decision support systems.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Health Informatics, Public Health, Epidemiology, or CIS.
• 3+ years of experience, including 3+ years in healthcare data analysis.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL or other programming languages.

Location and work setup

The role is based in Columbus, OH and works hybrid. The employee may work from any location in the Columbus, OH area, subject to the company remote work policy.
