Job Description

Data Analyst, Programs will support the Project/Program Team by analyzing healthcare data, building reports, and presenting insights to improve community health and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver data analysis, report creation, validation, and interpretation for multiple projects by querying electronic health record data using SQL
  • Support high impact initiatives focused on improving data availability and data quality and enabling reliable access to organizational data
  • Conduct research by pulling information from internal and external healthcare sources
  • Assess project progress and effectiveness using appropriate data analysis methodologies
  • Perform feasibility analysis for proposed projects
  • Present analytical findings to stakeholders and leadership using storyboarding and dynamic visuals
  • Identify project risks and escalate in a timely manner with proactive solution ideas
  • Coordinate and complete ad hoc data and analysis requests using business, operational, and analytical knowledge
  • Collaborate across the organization, including clinical, operations, and IT teams, and coordinate work effectively at all levels
  • Own report development for reports and dashboards
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus either 2+ years of relevant healthcare data analysis experience or 5+ years of data analysis experience in other fields
  • Experience with SQL and other common analytics tools, including Power BI (2+ years)
  • Plus: 2+ years of experience working with Epic EHR
  • Plus: 2+ years analytical experience in healthcare data quality reporting
  • Plus: 2+ years clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of healthcare data sources and contents, with experience in reporting and/or analytics workflows
  • Plus: Knowledge of standard healthcare Quality Measures such as NCQA HEDIS, CMS eCQM, PQA, and P4P
  • Ability to build relationships and work with staff across all levels, including C-Suite
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to research and apply findings
  • Strong data visualization and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Investigative mindset with strong attention to detail and thorough execution
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Salary: USD 95,981 - 109,616 per yearly
