Salary: USD 218,230 per year

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business challenges and translate them into data architecture and engineering remediation approaches.
  • Collaborate with clients to transform data usage by designing modern data platforms, data products, and marketplaces that improve data supply chains, reengineer processes, strengthen risk controls, and enable intelligence through advanced technologies.
  • Tackle complex issues and drive growth across the financial services sector.
  • Define data and analytics strategies by conducting assessments, recommending remediation options based on an integrated view of gaps, and designing and implementing future-state data and analytics solutions.
  • Lead and mentor diverse teams with varying backgrounds.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure task delivery and timeline adherence.
  • Advocate for new technologies to enhance or replace existing business processes.
  • Initiate thought leadership through white papers, viewpoints, and proofs of concept.
  • Develop problem-solving approaches using logical and creative methods.
  • Engage with and influence large teams and functional leaders.
  • Maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
  • Cultivate opportunities for business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field with five or more years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience; or a Master’s degree with at least four years of related work experience.
  • At least three years of combined experience in banking, capital markets, insurance, or wealth and asset management.
  • Three years of experience assisting clients with strategic Data Architecture and Engineering, Cloud Data Modernization, Data Products, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Big Data initiatives, and/or Event-driven Architecture.
  • Three years of experience with traditional data architecture practices such as Master Data Management, Operational Data Analytics, Customer Data Hub, and/or Data Warehousing.
  • Three years of experience with Next-Gen platforms including hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure), Snowflake, Databricks, and/or distributed databases.
  • Three years of experience in architecting and designing large data platforms, data warehouses, streaming applications, data ingestion pipelines, data storage patterns, and/or data integration pipelines.
  • Three years of combined experience in at least one of the following: traditional RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL); MPP (Redshift, Synapse, Teradata, Vertica or Netezza); NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J, Titan or Elasticsearch); Streaming Platforms (Spark Streaming, Kafka, Confluent or Storm); DevOps (GitHub, Kubernetes, Jenkins or Terraform); Data Modeling (Data Vault, Star, Snowflake, or Canonical).
  • Requires domestic and regional travel up to 60% to meet client needs.
