  • Salary: USD 157,414 per year

  • Travel: Up to 60% for client needs

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to redefine how data is used and governed, crafting data strategies and delivering end-to-end solutions that enhance the data supply chain, streamline processes, strengthen risk controls, and enable information intelligence through modern technologies.
  • Address complex challenges and drive growth across the financial services sector.
  • Develop and recommend data and analytics roadmaps by assessing current gaps, proposing remediation plans, and designing future-state data and analytics solutions.
  • Lead and mentor teams with diverse backgrounds, ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration and delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams to keep project tasks and timelines accountable.
  • Advise on and adopt new technologies to improve or replace existing business processes.
  • Foster thought leadership through white papers, viewpoints, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
  • Create problem-solving strategies that combine logic with creative approaches.
  • Engage and influence large teams and senior functional leaders to drive outcomes.
  • Inspire and manage teams with varied skills and backgrounds toward successful delivery.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality client service by monitoring progress and outcomes.
  • Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge relevant to data governance and analytics.
  • Maintain long-term client relationships and networks to support ongoing engagements.
  • Cultivate opportunities for business development within existing and new accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics or a related field with 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, or Master’s degree with 4 years of related work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking, capital markets, insurance, or asset management industry.
  • Experience with distributed processing technologies (Spark, Hadoop, or EMR).
  • Experience with traditional RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with MPP data platforms (AWS Redshift or Teradata).
  • Experience with NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J, or Titan).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Databricks).
  • Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and quality tools (Collibra, Solidatus, Informatica, Alation, Snowflake, Ab Initio, One Trust, or Big ID).
  • At least 3 years of experience using technologies, frameworks, or methodologies for data ingestion, storage, mining, warehousing, big data analytics, data manipulation, or visualization.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading teams through product or project management life cycles (requirements, design, development, testing).
  • At least 3 years of experience quantifying business improvements using analytics or statistical modeling.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and regionally up to 60% to meet client needs.
