Data Engineer Sr. Consultant
Job Description
As a Sr. Consultant Data Engineer with Deloitte in New York, NY, you will lead the design, development, and operationalization of scalable healthcare data platforms and integration pipelines. The role supports cloud-based data product delivery across multiple healthcare domains, with a focus on claims, payments, member, provider, eligibility, medical, and pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical lead responsible for designing, developing, and operationalizing scalable healthcare data platforms and integration pipelines across claims, payments, member, provider, eligibility, medical, and pharmacy domains.
- Design, develop, and operationalize scalable healthcare data platforms and integration pipelines across claims, payments, member, provider, eligibility, medical, and pharmacy domains.
- Deliver cloud-based data products using Azure Databricks, PySpark, Python, AWS services, Teradata Vantage, Informatica, Airflow, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on work, clients, and industries/sectors served.

Compensation and Incentive
Salary: USD 127,000 - 150,000 per year.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules, where an award (if any) depends on factors including individual and organizational performance.
