Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer role in Charlotte, NC (hybrid) with a salary range of $100,000 - $140,000 per year and a minimum of 7 years of Python and customer data platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable Python scripts and applications supporting the customer data platform operations.
• Automate data processing workflows with Python to improve data quality and reliability.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Leverage ANSI SQL to query and manipulate large datasets within the platform environment.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to consolidate customer data from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze complex data sets to support business insights and informed decision making.
• Stay current with evolving Python practices and advances in customer data management.
• Lead the development and optimization of ETL pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Design data models and schemas to enable efficient storage and fast retrieval in the data platform.
• Troubleshoot data related issues to minimize downtime and preserve data integrity.
• Mentor junior engineers on Python programming and ETL best practices.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
