Job Description

This role focuses on building and sustaining data pipelines and analytics ready datasets within a healthcare analytics environment. Based in Indianapolis, IN with a hybrid work setup, the position emphasizes collaboration with engineers and analytics partners to enhance data reliability. A minimum of two years of experience is expected, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, maintaining, and monitoring data pipelines that support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Support data ingestion and transformation processes under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Write, review, and troubleshoot SQL queries with guidance and mentorship.
  • Investigate and help resolve data quality issues, pipeline failures, and data inconsistencies.
  • Participate in team collaboration, knowledge-sharing sessions, and ongoing learning activities.
  • Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to understand data requirements and improve data reliability.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of SQL queries and their purpose
  • Ability to demonstrate logical troubleshooting and analytical thinking
  • Basic experience with Python or similar programming languages
  • Strong desire to learn data engineering concepts, tools, and cloud platforms
  • Educational preference: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in related roles
