Job Description
Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Data Scientist who can turn complex data into actionable insights through IoT, ML/AI, and analytics. This role emphasizes partnering with clients to understand their questions, then building algorithms and data-driven systems that translate diverse data into clear, decision-ready answers across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities
- Apply analytical skills and data science knowledge to generate real-world impact for clients.
- Collaborate with clients to clarify questions and dive into data-rich environments to identify relevant information.
- Develop algorithms and systems, selecting appropriate tools and frameworks to turn disparate data points into objective answers that support informed decisions.
- Deliver a deep understanding of the data, its meaning, and potential uses for client strategies.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in statistics, operations research, or advanced mathematics
- Experience with R or Python
- Experience using scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED

Work Model
- Remote: If listed as remote, there may be occasions to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
- Hybrid: If listed as hybrid, you’ll frequently work from a Booz Allen facility and may be required to visit a customer facility, aligned with leadership expectations and role needs.
- Onsite: Work primarily at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers as required.
Identity Statement

Clearance
Applicants selected will be subjected to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Compensation
The projected annual salary range is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 USD. Compensation is determined by factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific considerations, and organizational requirements.
