Responsibilities

  • Build statistical and analytical tools to support regression-based decisions using on-orbit and lab measurement data from user terminals
  • Publish technical documents and create visualizations and presentations to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Create and manage datasets for continued LLM pre-training and supervised fine-tuning
  • Develop scalable visualizations to analyze user terminal performance
  • Partner with constellation, RF, antenna, silicon, algorithm, and software engineers to root-cause failures using data as the primary mechanism
  • Drive alignment on metrics and analysis approaches to support product development strategy

Requirements

  • Experience with SQL and an RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) or a Data Warehouse
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or an equivalent field
  • 3+ years experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, etc.)
  • 3+ years experience with machine learning and statistical modeling, including analysis tools and techniques and an understanding of parameters that impact performance
  • Experience conducting and documenting trade studies and design trades
