Job Description
This role supports customer analytics by developing machine learning, data mining, statistical, and graph-based methods that help interpret complex datasets. You will prototype and select models, turn analysis into automated analytics, and contribute to production-ready implementations for analyst workflows.

Responsibilities
- Develop machine learning, data mining, statistical, and graph-based algorithms to analyze and make sense of datasets
- Prototype or evaluate multiple algorithms and select a final model based on appropriate performance metrics
- Build models or design experiments to generate training data when training or example datasets are unavailable
- Create reports and visualizations that summarize datasets and deliver data-driven insights to customers
- Work with subject matter experts to convert manual data analysis into automated analytics
- Implement prototype algorithms within production frameworks to support integration into analyst workflows
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (examples include statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, or computer science)
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in two (2) or more areas: designing/implementing machine learning, data mining, advanced analytical algorithms, advanced statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, or software engineering with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB
- Additional four (4) years of experience in software development, cloud development, analyzing datasets, or developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree
- A Master's degree in a quantitative discipline can be substituted for two (2) years of experience, for a total of eight (8) years required
- A Doctoral degree in a quantitative discipline can be substituted for four (4) years of experience, for a total of six (6) years required

- Support and contribute to increasing complexity in the customer’s data analytics ingestion
- Analyze new and existing datasets and provide actionable insights
- Help customers implement and optimize analytic suites based on those insights
- Support expansion of analytic capabilities using AI/ML alongside graph-based technologies and frameworks
