- Develop and ship predictive, statistical, and machine learning models such as regression, forecasting, uplift, attribution, and causal inference.
- Formalize assumptions about model behavior, detect outliers systematically, and implement improvements when issues are found.
- Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to identify, scope, and prioritize AI and data science opportunities that drive business outcomes.
- Build internal AI copilots and assistants to improve productivity, automate repetitive workflows, and speed up campaign execution.
- Monitor industry and technology trends in AI and e-commerce to identify emerging opportunities.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

- Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D., or equivalent experience) in a relevant field, or 5+ years designing optimization and machine learning solutions at scale.
- Strong foundation in machine learning and statistical methods, including Bayesian inference, regression, classification, forecasting, time series, causal inference, and tree-based models such as XGBoost and Random Forest.
- Ability to apply advanced math and data science techniques to solve complex business problems.
- Proficiency in Python to build proofs-of-concept and production-ready solutions.
- Experience translating business needs into AI and data science opportunities, with knowledge of marketing workflows, customer data, and campaign lifecycles.
- Track record of prototyping quickly, iterating through experimentation, and operationalizing models into production.
- Business acumen and problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholders across technical levels.
- AI-native mindset with curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging the latest AI tools.
