Data Scientist / Technical Lead (AI/ML & Media Analysis) - Lead

Falls Technology is seeking a lead to evaluate and integrate AI/ML and commercial tools for media analysis in support of a federal national-security mission. The role combines model evaluation, multimedia forensics, and systems engineering to take selected capabilities from assessment through cloud deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI/ML models and commercial (COTS) tools for media analysis.
• Lead systems engineering efforts to integrate selected tools into cloud environments.
• Apply multimedia forensics, including synthetic media and deepfake generation and detection.
• Plan and manage evaluation projects, including briefing results.
• Guide a technical team from evaluation through deployment.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Experience in data science for AI/ML model evaluation.
• Systems engineering experience for COTS tool integration.
• Knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure.
• Background in multimedia forensics.
• Experience with synthetic media / deepfake generation and detection.

Location and Employment Details

This is a full-time position with on-site work in Chantilly, VA.

Compensation

Salary: USD 200,000 per year.
