Gen AI Engineer

Infosys is hiring a Gen AI Engineer for an onsite role in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

• Create data preparation tasks and identify patterns or anomalies in datasets.
• Ensure data is ready for advanced modeling workflows.
• Build models for sophisticated use cases, including forecasting and LLM-based solutions, refining algorithms to meet business needs and enabling scalable production deployments.
• Test and optimize algorithms for performance, reliability, and scalability; mentor teammates on best practices.
• Design and implement predictive models and data-driven analyses to address business challenges.
• Build, evaluate, and deploy models; standardize coding practices and contribute to knowledge management.
• Utilize SAS, R and Python to create reusable customizations for non-ML, ML and deep learning algorithms; enhance analytics including LLMs and develop innovative, cost-effective solutions.
• Define analytics problems for projects; perform visualization, analysis, and predictive modeling under guidance.
• Proactively maintain models and implement improvements for accuracy and reliability.
• Apply governance controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
• Analyze performance trends, propose improvements, and document discrepancies for escalation.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation standards and participate in knowledge transfer sessions.
• Engage with stakeholders to refine requirements, provide insights, and guide model implementation.
• Apply the predefined quality measurement framework at the task level within the project.
• Deploy complex analytics tools or multi-system integrations; validate deployment success.
• Contribute to developing scripts or templates for repeated deployment tasks.
• Contribute to analytic solutions, IP asset creation, and training initiatives.
• Contribute to thought leadership through papers, innovative non-ML, ML, deep learning or LLM models, and proofs of concept.
• Participate in and deliver analytics training, while contributing to content creation.
• Provide input for segment and unit-level business plans.
• Deliver scalable, high-quality analytics solutions aligned to business needs.
• Demonstrate a knack for optimization, deployment and performance improvement of models.
• Drive innovation through advanced analytics, automation and thought leadership.
• Enable team growth through knowledge sharing, training and standardization.
