Job Description

Based in Dallas, TX, this onsite senior product owner role sits within Deloitte's Converge for Health Care portfolio. The position leads the development of healthcare analytics, data, and AI enabled products, translating business priorities into executable requirements and coordinating with engineering and data teams. The role offers a salary range of USD 116,200 to 229,100 annually and requires a bachelor's degree with at least four years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of product roadmaps and delivery plans in collaboration with the Product Manager to maintain alignment, momentum, and clarity as priorities progress from concept to delivery.
  • Turn business goals, practitioner input, and client needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria, blending healthcare domain knowledge with technical fluency to bridge business context with engineering and data teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and analytics teams to coordinate development, testing, and deployment, ensuring requirements are understood and solutions meet intended use cases and outcomes.
  • Oversee daily backlog management, including prioritization, grooming, and sprint planning, balancing near-term delivery with long-term product direction.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborative sessions to keep development progress aligned with the roadmap, milestones, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Contribute to research, documentation, and design of new features by engaging with Deloitte leadership, practitioners, and clients to capture insights, validate assumptions, and inform decisions grounded in real-world use.
  • Support pilot initiatives and early deployments of new analytics capabilities, including GenAI enabled features and emerging agentic workflows, translating early learnings into scalable product improvements.
  • Develop product collateral, demonstrations, and internal enablement materials to promote adoption across Deloitte Consulting teams and client engagements.
  • Monitor product usage, performance signals, and feedback to identify opportunities for refinement or future investment, sharing insights with the Product Manager and the broader product team.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to translate unclear business and domain needs into well-defined product requirements and actionable work items.
  • Solid healthcare domain knowledge with experience applying analytics or data-driven solutions to healthcare operations and performance improvement.
  • Technical fluency with analytics platforms and data-driven products, enabling effective collaboration with engineering, data, and analytics teams without requiring hands-on coding.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of synthesizing inputs, weighing tradeoffs, and delivering clear implications.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, capable of engaging product managers, engineers, consultants, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence across cross-functional, fast-moving, matrixed teams to drive progress.
  • Comfort with agile delivery, including backlog tracking, sprint planning, documentation, and collaboration tools to organize work and communicate progress.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies such as advanced analytics, automation, GenAI, and agentic systems, and interest in applying them responsibly within healthcare products.
  • Comfort working in evolving product portfolios where priorities and investments continue to mature over time.
