Junior AI Engineer

FoxEyes Robotics is hiring a motivated Junior AI Engineer to build AI and computer vision capabilities for a vision-based surgical robotic system.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI algorithms for medical software, including object detection, image segmentation, and image inpainting (LaMa)
• Drive independent improvements to AI solutions across the lifecycle: data preparation and labeling, model training, evaluation, fine-tuning, and performance optimization
• Analyze model performance, troubleshoot issues, and run experiments with alternate approaches to improve results
• Collaborate with other engineers to explore new AI applications for medical software and translate concepts into working AI solutions

Requirements

• Python programming skills
• Basic understanding of machine learning and deep learning
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch or a similar deep learning framework
• Experience training, evaluating, and fine-tuning AI models, with the ability to review performance and make adjustments to improve outcomes
