Job Description
Contract Lead Data Analyst based in Redmond, WA, with a hybrid work arrangement, focusing on PLM data loading, validation, cleanup, and analytics to enable a successful PLM implementation.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Lead and Work Stream Lead with Bills of Materials, Parts, and related documentation
- Coordinate with data analysts under the Work Stream Lead to maintain clear communication and alignment
- Investigate large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Convey findings in language accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Apply statistical techniques and select predictive analytics when appropriate
- Conduct analyses and visualizations using SQL, Python or R, Power BI, Tableau, and similar tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business objectives
- Support the work stream lead by guiding stakeholders on data interpretation and decision-making
- Present insights and recommendations to the work stream lead
- Work with stakeholders to gather data needs and outline business objectives
- Validate and verify data across multiple PLM data loads
- Lead data cleanup efforts by defining requirements and coordinating with IT for PLM and ERP data
- Clean and maintain data following IT mass-update processes
- Create reports, dashboards, and visuals using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
- Identify trends and insights from data analyses
- Translate complex findings into clear, actionable conclusions
- Define and implement documentation control methods to support the PLM system
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems
- Automate data processes to improve reporting efficiency where feasible
- Extract data, analyze it, and apply critical thinking to decision making
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
