Job Description

Lead Financial Data Analyst to support FP&A at Lutron Electronics, based onsite in Coopersburg, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain executive FP&A reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI, Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Lead collection, analysis, and interpretation of financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Accounting, Operations, IT, and internal data teams to define data governance standards, business definitions, and consistent enterprise reporting.
  • Develop and automate data models, reporting processes, and BI tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work with technical teams to improve data integration, reporting architecture, and data structures supporting enterprise analytics initiatives.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of reporting outputs by spotting data quality issues and implementing process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve data accessibility, and elevate overall BI and analytics capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • At least 4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, FP&A reporting, financial analytics, or related analytics roles
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel, including dashboard development, data modeling, and visualization
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar enterprise applications
  • Experience designing and maintaining dimensional data models, semantic layers, or enterprise reporting datasets
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future

Overview

We are seeking a Lead Financial Data Analyst to support the FP&A organization at the Global Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. The role drives enterprise analytics, reporting strategy, and data‑driven decision making across the organization, leading scalable reporting solutions, KPI frameworks, data models, and analytics capabilities that equip business leaders to understand performance across functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Finance, FP&A, Sales, Operations, or Accounting teams
  • Experience supporting executive-level reporting and decision-making processes
  • Familiarity with enterprise data platforms and cloud analytics environments, including Denodo, AWS, Microsoft Fabric, or similar
  • Proficiency with Python, R, or other analytical automation tools
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks
  • Experience implementing reporting automation and self-service BI solutions
