Machine Learning Engineer
Job Description
Rolls-Royce seeks a Machine Learning Engineer in Indianapolis, hybrid, focused on building and deploying AI and ML tools to deliver insights on Rolls-Royce products.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT and Rolls-Royce Fleet engineering teams to identify opportunities for applying digital technologies that maximize impact and value.
- Understand, clean, and analyze large datasets from engine sensors, test rigs, and fleet operations.
- Build, train, and validate machine learning models for tasks such as engineering knowledge search, anomaly research, production support, and predictive maintenance.
- Document work clearly and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, or Physics with 2+ years of machine learning experience; OR
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, or Physics; OR
- PhD in Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, or Physics.
- U.S. Citizenship is required to be eligible for consideration.
